Focal Point collects information you submit voluntarily through project inquiry forms, photometric file requests, spec-pack downloads, and email correspondence. Typical fields include name, firm, email address, phone number, project location, and project brief.
Project information is used to route inquiries to the correct application engineer, deliver IES photometric files, ship Revit families, and support the lifecycle of a lighting specification. We do not sell project data.
When you access focalpointus.com we collect standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) and use analytics to improve the specification library. Cookies are used for session management and anonymous usage analytics.
We share project contact information with our regional application engineers, factory representatives, and distribution partners assigned to a specific project inquiry. Third-party data processors are bound by written confidentiality obligations.
Specification inquiries and supporting correspondence are retained for the duration of the project plus seven years to support warranty, lifecycle, and service requests.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected]. We honor requests under applicable law including GDPR and CCPA where they apply.
We use TLS encryption for site traffic, role-based access controls for project data, and annual security reviews of the systems storing customer information.
